The Time Has Almost Arrived!

As midnight approaches so does the time to register for the events you would like to attend during the Huron Fringe Birding Festival. February 1^st is the first day for registration and since some of the events fill up quite quickly it would be good to get to your computer, log in and make sure you secure the events you are interested in!

Even if you see that some of the events you wanted to register for are full, don’t despair. There are many interesting events this year with leaders from the past festivals, new leaders, and leaders that have been giving people a chance to enjoy nature for many years. Their knowledge and expertise on several facets of nature will make it a VERY worthwhile time no matter what event you register for.

Take a look, pick your event, take a chance on something new, schedule yourself a time to thoroughly enjoy two wonderful weekends of spring.

20th HFBF Schedule of Events

 

The chill of winter has many birds far to the south enjoying the warmth of the sun while some of us are still here enjoying the birds that spend the winter with us.

It won’t be long until the migration north starts and the sounds and colour of migrating birds fills the woods and the meadows.

There are all day events, half day events, birding events, nature events, and a banquet with keynote speaker Ethan Meleg! Depending on what level of activity you want there’s something for everyone!! Check out the events and be sure to look over the Festival Products that are available as a new addition to the festival page this year. Registration opens on February 1 2017 so be prepared as some of the events fill up quite quickly.

Come out and enjoy nature, meet new friends and renew old acquaintances!!
