Think Spring Thoughts !

leave a comment »

As we sit and listen about road closures, hear the wind and see the snow and ice building up in the yards it’s always nice to think about Spring and imagine how we might enjoy it!!

Here’s a Great way to enjoy the return of the birds and the smells of the great outdoors!

The 20th Huron Fringe Birding Festival 2017

Take your calendar and mark off May 26 to May 29 and June 1 to June 4 2017. Then when Christmas is behind you and January 15th 2017 has just arrived go to the website:

www.huronfringebirdingfestival.ca

and browse the schedule of events to see what most appeals to your love of birds and nature. Then February 1 2017 register online and choose your events to attend during the festival. Some events do fill up quickly so keep that in mind as you plan your choices.

Bring your binoculars and camera and join in the fun as we welcome the birds that have been living far to the south back for another season.

There are events for all the family and a nice variety to take you places in Bruce and Grey County that you might never have visited before.

There are knowledgeable leaders that have returned from previous festivals as well as new leaders who bring their wealth of knowledge with them to lead events this year!

Get your questions answered, experience nature at its best and meet new friends!

Wishing Everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !
